BLE Advertising & Scanning Optimization
Tune a simplified legacy BLE discovery model. Earn 25 points for each displayed model target met, once per scenario. Battery life, range and RSSI are design context requiring hardware validation.

TryOn scenario 1, begin with Advertising Interval 100 ms, Scan Window 50 ms, and Scan Interval 100 ms before Check.
ObserveCheck once per scenario. Each of the four displayed model targets earns 25 points; feedback lists which targets were met and why.
ExplainAdvertising Interval at 100 ms creates more discovery opportunities, while a larger Scan Window raises receiver duty cycle and energy cost.

Quick Tuning Rules
- Faster
- Short advertising interval and high scan duty cycle.
- Lower power
- Long intervals save advertiser energy; low scan duty saves scanner energy. Validate TX against link budget.
- Less collision
- Longer intervals reduce offered traffic. TX effects on interference footprint need measurement.

Technical boundaries. This legacy undirected advertising exercise scores four explicit model targets, once each. Discovery is interval divided by scan duty, a heuristic rather than an average or guarantee. Power is shown separately for advertiser and scanner. Battery lifetime, range, RSSI stability and connected latency are not scored or predicted. The model simplifies channel hopping, controller scheduling, clock drift, PHY choice, connection establishment, multipath fading, coexistence, and platform-specific radio power; results compare trade-offs rather than certify a deployment.
