Scoring. Each scenario scores once: 100 base points for an exact match, 70 with unnecessary options, 40 for type and method only, 20 for one matching field, otherwise 0. Invalid messages score 0. Builds worth at least 70 base points extend the streak and add 10 points per prior strong build. Maximum total: 1450. Technical boundaries. The ten deterministic scenarios teach CoAP message type, REST method, and option selection. They do not simulate packet loss, retransmission timers, congestion control, blockwise transfer state, Observe cancellation, proxy cache freshness, OSCORE, DTLS, server implementation quirks, or byte-accurate payload encoding. Scores compare choices with the teaching fixture; they are not protocol-conformance results.
